Description:
"Food is Culture!"
'KN Book' cutting boards, designed by Roberto Vaia, draw inspiration from "Kn", a novel, by Carlo Belli – considered by many to be the Italian manifesto of abstract art.
Belli claimed that art should be the symbol of a new order and, breaking away from all things figurative, should reject the very notion of reality.
Which is all to say that these chopping boards are purely decorative 'books' for your kitchen, or useful as items which might serve you in it – as literal serving platters.
On the other hand, you might just code them by the kinds of food that you will chop on each of their surfaces (fruit and onions don't belong on the same board, is all I'm saying!).
Available here as individual boards, or available elsewhere on the site as a trio, with a binding that will hold them all together.
Materials: Walnut, Oak, Ash
Size: cm 27 x 17.6 / H2.5
As for any wooden kitchen accessory: always wash by hand, and never in a dishwasher!
