Pizza Gourmet is a terracotta Pizza stone designed by Italian designer Lara Caffi.
Terracotta is a material used in cooking since time immemorial. Its main feature is that it is capable of enduring high temperatures, of absorbing a lot of heat, and of releasing it only slowly. All of which makes it perfect for the fast, precise cooking required by a pizza, and for keeping it hot for the time it takes to serve it.
Pizza Gourmet was created for cooking pizza at home, and designed for serving it at the table, where it will keep the pizza warm until the last slice. Just don't forget the heat mats!
Materials: terracotta, coated with a protective enamel surface that leaves a natural handmade feel intact
Suitable for: oven only
Instructions for use:

place in a cold oven to allow to heat up gradually
- pre-heat before adding pizza
- allow to cool completeley before washing
- avoid abrasives when washing (no powders or scourers)
- avoid using metal implements (will affect the outer enamel)
- not suitable for dishwasher
- dry well before storing
