The Ren series of furniture originated out of a desire to create pieces consistent with the philosophy behind Danish Modern tradition: high quality accessible furniture that is thoughtfully crafted and balances function with form.
By adding craft techniques and aesthetic detail true to the design inheritance of Japan and China‚ straight lines that correlate with basic forms of use and the elegance of a simple 'A' frame construction ‚ the result is a collection that, although inspired by a particular place and time, is both international and ageless in scope.
