Description:
A transparently large statement piece of a cooking pot that is as beautiful as it is unlikely: a glass pot that will withstand fire and ice, and look good while managing either.

This pot lets you check on your food as it cooks – watch it dance and entertain an audience – or fill it with ice and use it to chill celebratory bottles as a centrepiece for a party.

Made from technologically advanced borosilicate glass (the scientific kind that will withstand the heat of experimentation), and treated with a nanotech ceramic coating, this pot is safe on a flame or other heat source, but take care to follow the rules when you use it (see below) – borosilicate glass is tough, and heat proof, and harder to break than the norm, but glass is, always, a material requiring special care.

Material: Glass with stainless steel handles

Properties:

  • non-reactive
  • easy to clean
  • dishwasher safe

Care Instructions:

  • can be used on gas or induction – will require a diffuser between the flame and the pan for the former and a universal induction plate for the latter
  • use for the first time with no more than 1 litre of water – just as a check in case of bumps and weaknesses that may have befallen it in transit – and it's good practice always to start small, verify all is well, then top up
  • no metal utensils
  • avoid severe thermal shocks (eg: never pour cold water into a 'just boiled' pan!)

Size: ⌀24cm

Material: Glass with stainless steel handles
