Born out of a collaboration with the committedly thoughtful design duo Formafantasma, 'Wirering' represents a light stripped back to its most fundamental elements and made beautiful by stretching them, literally, to the limits of their utility and form – this is a light to touch hearts as well as minds.

Essentially, this light is an electric cable and a ring shaped LED strip representing the quintessence of minimalism in design. Created in direct service to keeping its impact only where it's needed, and otherwise keeping any travelling impact 'light', its fluidity is both beautifully simple and simply elegant in its humility and deference to a planetary form.

Technical and Material Notes:

• Wirering provides an indirect light source positioned as a wall fitting
• The rubber cable that secures the fitting and provides its power is fixed to the wall with ABS joints in the same finish as the ring that provides the light.
• Wirering can be dimmed via a switch pedal on the cable.
• Power supply comes with interchangeable plugs, and the useful cable length is 2.5 metres.
